hello all, i am looking to purchase some saddle bags for my streetmate. i am not too concerned with color, or condition really, just as long as they are functional. so if you have some handy, please let me know. thanks in advance.

Check bike panniers at nashbar.com. They often have pretty good stuff on sale. I buy bicycle supplies from them all the time. The stuff they sell under their "Nashbar" brand is good.

You can also find some good solutions at the Army Surplus stores. I found a couple of German Bread bags (new) and put two on my Revival. Look nice and pretty functional. You can find all types of nice bags. I sprayed mine with camp dry to add a bit of water resistance. I'll post a pic later. oh yeah $24 total for both.

Tractor Supply Store online
http://www.tractorsupply.com/equine/...le-bag-5046734 or a horse tack store.

Don't think they will work on a Streetmate because it has no luggage rack, but I have Delta Compact bicycle panniers on my ST and my Puch. They are the right size, and they are tough. I carry a gallon jug of premix in each one, and have for years with no problems.
