Take the top of the carb off and remove the slide, you might have to remove the top at an angle so the choke lock lever won't get caught.

Now take the throttle cable and push it through the cable tube..

Now you should have something like this.

Next put the end of the throttle cable into the slot in the throttle slide.

It should look like this.

If you already have the cable installed at the throttle grip side you wont have all that slack, if not pull the slack out of the cable and make sure the throttle slide seats against the spring.

Now slide it all back into the carb body, keeping an eye on the spring, you want it to stay seated on the indent on the throttle slide. Push the choke lock lever inwards so it will fit inside the carb opening.

Now slide the other side of the cable into the throttle grip assembly making sure the cable is seated in both cable housings and is tight. Tighten the small throttle cable clamp screw and your ready to adjust it.
Engage the choke. Now adjust the cable slack using the adjusting screw on the top of the carb, the choke should release when you twist the grip all the way open and the slide should be all the way down resting on the idle screw when closed.
